Solutions for Top 6 questions
- Use your operator's 3G internet access point (e.g. Movistar Internet). WAP access point will not work.
- If you get ‘unable to start JoikuSpot’ you have another application in your phone reserving the WiFi for itself (e.g. Whatsapp, Fring, Boingo, Antivirus program, ...). Release the WiFi for JoikuSpot to use.
- Make sure your connecting device (e.g. laptop or tablet) allows AD HOC WIFI connection. Some Android tablets block ad hoc wifi connections.
- Make sure your operator mobile data plan subscription allows wifi tethering
- To set encryption on (in Premium Edition only): Stop JoikuSpot, Options - Settings - Set encryption level and password key.
- If a web page doesn't open, and you are using JoikuSpot Light, please upgrade to Premium Edition which supports all internet, intranet and email client protocols
