----------------------------------------------------- Just purchased this software yesterday. Used it on my Nokia N93 to share 3G internet to my iphone 1.0. Works perfectly, everytime. Nice to have the option of turning off the landing page everytime one starts safari. Tested You Tube, Fring, and email imap on the iphone using joiku spot premium and it works without a hitch. There is something that does not work so far though on Joiku Spot Premium, That is imap Idle. I use this feature of imap to alert me as soon as I receive a mail via gmail. This uses Port 993. Please advice if that port has been mapped in Joiku spot premium? Also does Joiku spot premium hav full NAT capability, or is a selection of ports mapped through a NAt like connection? Other than that. I have to say I am enjoying Joiku spot premium features over the limited joiku spot light, and love the nice golden icon that replaces the silver one found in light. MAzor |

----------------------------------------------------- This is good to hear. Thanks for the Joiku Review! we will look into this imap port 993 issue that you raise, and if we find that its a bug it will be fixed in the next update release. There was also another Joiku Review of the same issue so we will take this under investigation. Ref NAT: Firewall systems that require PPTP/GRE port forwarding protocol for VPN are not supported in Premium 2.0. JoikuSpot Premium's VPN supports ICMP, TCP and UDP protocols. ----------------------------------------------------- Tested Joikuspot Premium on a few platforms. First, I tested it with Windows Vista. Connects and works correctly. Next I tested it with OSX Leopard. This too works correctly. I then tested it on another Symbian smart phone using wifi, and that too works correctly. Finally tested it on Ubuntu Linux. It does not work here. It cannot resolve DHCP, and even when manually placing IP address, and Gateways, it still fails to work. Possibly has the same problems as PSP does with AD-HOC type infrastructure connections. MAzor |

----------------------------------------------------- Hi, Try setting the 802.11 channel on JoikuSpot manually to channel 1 or 6. You can do it by stopping JoikuSpot and then go to Settings. Set channel to 1 or 6. It seems that Ubuntu and some other Linux versions can not find ad hoc channels automatically. "mazor 2008-07-21 05:10:41" Tested Joikuspot Premium on a few platforms. ----------------------------------------------------- Hello, everytime I start Joikuspot Premium and try to use it, the Nokia E51 phone restars after few minutes of use. I tried to reset phone to factory defaults and also to flash newest firmware. No change. Without data transfers, Joikuspot holds longer, once even for 4 hours. Does anyone had this problem and solved it? How? |
